1. The service
Potentia is an online-only digital subscription. It provides self-guided career and personal growth coaching tools: a structured plan generator, downloadable visual assets, a roadmap reveal clip and a Momentum Pack export. It is an online-only digital service: there are no physical goods, no shipping or delivery, no in-person service, and no installation.
2. Not professional advice
Potentia is not licensed therapy, counselling, psychiatric or mental-health treatment; it is not a licensed recruitment agency, employment business or job-placement service; and it does not provide regulated legal, financial, tax, immigration or medical advice. Our content is informational and general in nature. For any of those needs, consult an appropriately qualified, licensed professional.
3. No guaranteed outcomes
Plans, interview answers, roadmaps and other outputs are suggestions to help you think and act. We do not guarantee any job offer, hire, promotion, salary, exam result, or other outcome. You are responsible for your own decisions, and you should independently verify anything that matters — including job details, offers and contract terms.
4. Wellbeing and crisis
Potentia does not handle mental-health crises. If you express thoughts of self-harm or serious distress, the service will show guidance encouraging you to seek help. Please contact a licensed professional or your local emergency services. In the UK you can call the Samaritans on 116 123 at any time; if you are in immediate danger call 999. We are not a substitute for professional or emergency support.
5. Eligibility and minors
You must be at least 13 to use Potentia. Users aged 13–17 must have the consent of a parent or guardian, who agrees to these terms on their behalf. The service is not intended for children under 13.
6. Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed in US dollars (USD) through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. Your plan includes a monthly allowance of growth plans that does not roll over. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges until you cancel. Cancellation and refund terms are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. Acceptable use
You agree to use Potentia lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy, including the rule that the tool is for your own personal growth and must not be used to screen, rate or make employment decisions about other people.
8. Your content and ours
You keep ownership of what you type and any text you paste; you grant us a limited licence to process it to provide the service, as described in our Content License. The Potentia name, software, design and templates remain ours.
9. Availability and changes
We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may improve, change or withdraw features, and will give reasonable notice of material changes to these terms or to paid plans.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on informational outputs. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
